The Bamburi Group launched the "HEALTH, COST & CASH" initiative in Kenya and Uganda to protect the health and safety of its people, partners, and communities during the Covid-19 pandemic. The group focused on health, forming a Covid-19 Business Resilience Team, and implementing measures like remote working, hygiene, and emergency response. This led to a 144% increase in Profit before Tax in 2020 and a record cash flow of Kes 6,860m.
