Following online posts regarding Chinese citizens who have been denied entry into the country for not self-quarantining for 14 days as per the coronavirus (COVID-19) preventive measures directive issued by the Kenya Government and the World Health Organization (WHO). Bamburi Cement wishes to clarify that it has contracted a local company for an assignment that had been scheduled for end March this year. The contractor’s team presented themselves and their certificates of Covid -19 health clearance to travel from their country of origin but were denied entry.
