Flexible Requirements

Submit 1-2 years of audited financial reports instead of the standard 3 years, with a 3-6 month grace period to establish policies (e.g., Health & Safety, Environment).

Faster Payments

Enjoy 30-day payment terms from invoicing, compared to the market standard of up to 90 days.

Pre-qualification Support

A 6-month grace period to meet Sustainable Procurement Initiative (SPI) requirements, immediate invoice discounting onboarding, and performance securities capped at 1% for tenders.

Procurement Opportunities

We offer diverse opportunities for suppliers to collaborate with us across various categories:
  • Equipment and Consumables: Spares, hardware, and laboratory supplies.
  • Logistics and Geocycle: Bulk cement, clinker, and ready-mix concrete transport, plus alternative fuels like agricultural waste.
  • Raw Materials & Packaging: Gypsum, bauxite, aggregates, sand, limestone, and bags.
  • Facilities and Services: Cleaning, grounds maintenance, HR, IT, consulting, travel, and fleet services.
  • Mining and Production: Sub-contracting, maintenance, engineering, and civil/electrical works.

Pre-qualification Process

Start your partnership journey through our prequalification process:
  1. Express Interest: Submit your interest via email ([email protected]).
  2. Submit Documents: Provide KYC documentation, business permits, COBC, and complete the online pre-qualification form.
  3. Join Our Database: Pre-qualified suppliers are added to our database, gaining access to tender opportunities, including exclusive ones not publicly advertised.
  4. Annual Compliance: We conduct annual checks on statutory requirements, health & safety, and ESG compliance to ensure alignment with our standards.

Tendering Documents Checklist

Prepare the following for tendering, with special considerations for women-owned and special groups:
  • Mandatory Documents: CR-12 (or equivalent), KRA PIN and VAT certificates, TIMS registration, valid business permit, Certificate of Incorporation, KRA Tax Compliance Certificate, financial/audited reports, AGPO certificate (for special groups), and ESG/H&S questionnaire.
  • Additional Documents: Licensing, insurance, company code of conduct, litigations, conflict of interest declaration, signed Lafarge Holcim Code of Business Conduct, Environmental Policy Sign-Off, Contractor Safety Management Form, references, CVs, and previous contract details.
